She first became famous in June 2013 when she appeared in Big Brother: Secrets and Lies, the 14th series of Big Brother UK. This series was the British adaptation of the very popular international reality television series Big Brother, which was first broadcast in the Netherlands in 1999 and then syndicated across the globe। She started the competition on the second day with her mother Jackie, and stayed in the house until the sixteenth day, when she finished in fifth place overall, having only received six nominations for eviction। Charlie and Jackie were the first mother-daughter pair to work together in the same season of the show
